The Map of the Circle
The Circle, at a glance.
The Lutopie Business Club is a private international business circle. This page opens its door for you: six circles, from the centre to the world. At the centre, what decides. Around it, what opens to members. At the edge, the countries where the Circle already stands.
Six circles
From the centre to the world.
Touch a circle to open it. What the Circle shows here, it shows in full. The rest, the sums, the criteria of the path, the terms agreed with its partners, is said in conversation.
Circle 01
The centre.
A house stands by its centre. Three charges here, and few people on each: the one that decides, the one that judges, the one that keeps.
- 01The PresidencyThe Circle’s founder. He carries the vision, reads every application and settles admissions. His influence opens doors, and VIP members work with him directly.
- 02The CounselThe Circle’s representatives and the trusted professionals it works with: legal, financing, setting up abroad, wealth, aviation, property. A member consults them on his file.
- 03The Circle’s teamThe Club’s own team, the people who keep the house running day to day. They read applications, keep the address book, prepare the season and answer members.
Here, the person who decides receives you. It is the first thing the door opens onto.
Circle 02
The three ranks.
Membership runs for a year and is renewed by common accord. Three ranks, three depths of the Circle.
- ISilver · first invitationFor those living abroad or far from the tables, who want a place in the Circle first. Everything happens on screen.
- IIGold · received at the tableFor those who come to the dinners and the stays, and want a network that works on their behalf. This is the done for you: the Circle searches, negotiates and introduces for you.
- IIIVIP · guest of honourFor those who want the Circle at their side, on their own files. This is the done with you: the founder works with you, and access is complete. By invitation, and by that alone.
The sum is said in conversation, once the file is accepted. The guest of honour is a rank by invitation: the founder offers it to you.
Circle 03
The path of emblems.
Seven emblems, from the Shark to the Eagle. Ad aquilam. The rank says what you receive; the emblem says what you carry.
SharkThe threshold. Everyone enters here, and everyone stays as long as it takes.
WolfThe Circle begins to give: one named introduction, and a seat at a dinner.
CrocodileYour subject comes before the Circle, and the Concierge takes one request in hand.
BearThe seat at The Table. This is where the Circle stops receiving you and starts listening to you.
LionA charge held for a year, and the founder’s ear, an hour each quarter.
GorillaA seat on admissions, a veto that must be argued, and a Shark to sponsor.
EagleNamed by the founder alone, once or twice a year, with no criteria and no appeal.
Three things carry you up the Circle’s ranks. They are said at admission, or in your member space.
Circle 04
The houses of the Circle.
Nine houses, each with its seal, each with its trade. Each has someone in charge and a door.
The Address BookAddresses seen before they were listed, each with its contact. We do not hand you a name, we hand you the door.
The OracleThe strategic brief of the Circle, every Sunday. What moves in the world before it is known.
The ConciergeHotels, flights, sourcing. The Circle searches, you decide.
The SalonThe announcements of the Circle, live, and the room that comes with them.
The WorkshopThe private space where the Circle works on your project with you. You leave your papers there, the team takes them up, and they stay between you.
The ClubThe Circle’s learning platform. Masterclasses given by members who have already built, and the advantages our partners open.
The AgendaThe season’s calendar: 127 dates, January to December. The Circle’s own evenings are there too, and seats are asked for: the Circle looks for them on your behalf.
CapitalThree routes for a company head: raising funds, investing, selling the business. The Circle prepares the file, then introduces you to the right person on the day it holds.
The PathThe Circle’s standing, in seven emblems from Shark to Eagle. The Circle reviews each path in January and July, and hands every step over in person. What moves it is explained inside the members’ area.
Circle 05
Those who open doors.
A closed circle grows only through those who carry it. Three ways to open a door, and one way in.
- 01Members who sponsorEach member gives their word to present two qualified profiles. An oath, kept because it was given.
- 02Territory representativesThey carry the Circle in a city: they open the ground, receive candidates, and answer for whom they present.
- 03PartnersHotels, restaurants, transport, watchmaking, property, advisory. Each chosen for what they do well. A recommendation from the Circle is earned by trial.
The Circle seeks out its partners, tries them, then recommends them. A member may present one: their word opens the review.
Circle 06
The world around.
A circle is measured by what surrounds it too: the countries where it is at home, the addresses it opens, and everyone following it from outside.
- 01Thirteen countriesFrance, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg, Andorra, Tunisia, Morocco, Thailand, Indonesia, China, United Arab Emirates, Canada. Where the Circle holds ground.
- 02The address book reaches furtherMore than 2,500 addresses, in more than fifty destinations and twenty countries, across four continents. The whole of it opens by rank.
- 03Before being a memberThe Journal, the Talkcast, the public accounts. The Circle can be read without being entered, and many read it before they knock.
The door stays the same: you enter the Circle by sponsorship, or by a file that holds.
What follows
You have seen the map. The door remains.
Your file is presented in person. A conversation, a review, an answer. The sum is said during that conversation, once the Circle knows who you are.
