Exchanging contacts among guests of the Bossuet gala

What we do best

Introductions, made by hand.

Everyone promises a network. Few know how to make it circulate. Here, without theory, is how a need becomes an introduction, then a project.

The problem

A contact list is not a network.

You can know two thousand people and have no one to call on a Tuesday night. What is missing is never the number: it is qualification and the standing of whoever makes the introduction.

,

The ordinary network

You search alone, cold, with no idea whether the person is serious. You start from zero credibility in every conversation. No one vouches for the other party’s quality. The time lost is invisible, so it is never counted.

,

The Circle

We know who does what, at what level, and with what rigour. An introduction carries the reputation of whoever makes it. The entry filter does the work upstream: a thirty-minute interview with our head of admissions or a representative of the Circle, then the founder’s decision. Once you are a member, the founder receives you for thirty minutes in turn. The conversation begins where others end.

The mechanics

Anatomy of an introduction.

Xavier, on what a good introduction changes, 2 minutes. In French.

Five stages. Nothing automated, it is done by hand, and that is precisely what makes it rare. And when it lands, a dinner that runs late or a deal sealed between two laughs, you understand why you are here.

The need is stated

Not “I’m looking for a network”, but “I’m looking for an accountant used to Belgian structures”. The more precise the request, the more accurate the introduction.

Day 0

We search within the Circle

We know our members one by one, their trade, their level, the way they work. The sorting happens in our heads, not in a database.

Consent on both sides

No one is thrown into a conversation. We ask the other person whether they have the time and the interest. An imposed introduction destroys what it claims to build.

Before anything is sent

The introduction is carried

Context is given to both: who, why, and what there is to gain on either side. We don’t forward a phone number, we open a door.

That same week

We follow what it produces

An introduction only succeeds if it produces something. We come back to both members, and we read the Circle better for it.

The right person, at the right moment.

The Circle does not sell a network. It circulates what it knows, between people who answer each other.
